How to knit the Bubble Stitch
Add a bit of cuddly fun and texture to your knitting

1
Work 4 rows in stocking stitch. This is all knit if you are working in the round.

2
Insert the point of the right hand needle into the stitch 5 rows below the next stitch of the left hand needle.

3
Wrap the yarn around the right hand needle like a normal knit stitch.

4
Pull the stitch through while holding on to your work

5
Drop the next stitch on your left hand needle and allow it to unravel down the 4 rounds to your new stitch. I use this method because you don’t drop the stitch until you are sure that you have made its replacement.

6
Pull at your unravelled threads to make the bubble

To make this two colour version knit one more row in the grey and then four rows in the white.
Repeat the tuck row in grey but this time place the tuck in between the tucks you did previously.

I hope this gives you the confidence to explore the Bubble Stitch a bit more
