Chillie Hottie
Chilli Hottie is a hot water bottle cover, knitted in the round using a three-colour stranded technique in natural shades of pure wool, creating a cuddly comforter with a bold geometric design.
The stitch patterns are inspired by a sample of a chilli pod that I viewed under my microscope and then turned first into a drawing and then into stitches.
The Chilli hottie is designed to reflect the deceptively simple, rhythmic and organised beauty that I observed and fits a standard 2 litre hot water bottle.
I hope that you find it a satisfying knit with a mix of manual dexterity and flow.
